DIXF: import address with "new line"

Hi to all!

I have to import (from .txt file) addresses.

The street have more lines, for example:

StreetA 10,

StreetB 15

How can I say to DIXF to start a new line in the same string during the import?

Thanks

Martina

    In the excel sheet for the address import, in the "street" field after your desired text for line 1, press ALT + Enter to insert a carriage return, then enter the data for line 2, press ALT + Enter again, etc. so that the street text appears as having 2nd, 3rd lines in the cell in excel, just as you would like it to appear in AX.

    I used tab delimited

    Column delimiter Tab {t}

    Row delimiter {CR}{LF}

    " for text qualifier,

    Hi! I have another problem. I've imported the street with two lines

    "Kreischaer Stra. 1A
    Kreischaer Stra. 1B"

    but AX formats the address as following:

    4073.Aufnahme1.png

    There is an empty line instead of a simple "new line".

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Martina

    Hi! This is the file:

    AccountNum|Currency|CustGroup|CountryRegionId|Street
    000005|EUR|Group01|ITA|"Street 1A
    Street 1B"

    And I've set the following settings under

    Data import export framework > Setup > Source data format:

    4401.Aufnahme1.png

    Hope this help!

    Hi Martina,

    What do mean exactly by 'I've created I file with 5 fields and I found my error!'

    How did you solve your issue? We are facing a similar issue while importing addresses using DIXF.

    Can you share the solution you found?

    Thanks,

    With Text qualifier = " and Row delimiter = ; I receive the following error:

    Duplicate tag exists in file ''

    So your have in your file

    "StreetA 10,
    StreetB 15";

    You Text qualifier = " and Row delimiter = ; and it does not work ?

    Or you did something else ? it's hard to guess what you did and what is wrong...

    I've already tried these possibilities...but without success...

    Hi Martina Bergamo,

    Did you try to change Row delimiter from {CR}-{LF} to something else ?

    Also you can play with Text qualifier, set it to " and wrap your street with "".
