Payroll integration with Time & Attendance

Hi All,

I have been reviewing time and attendance module in Dynamics 365 finance. It has some setups for payroll but I can't find any link between payroll module in D365 Finance and time and attendance. Can anyone please confirm if time and attendance in Dynamics 365 finance and operations linked with U.S Payroll? If yes then how can we generate worker earnings and pay statements using time and attendance entries?

Hi Huzaifa Ashraf Mala,

The payroll module is US specific and might not fit the requirements in any other country.

Are you operating your entity in the US and plan to use this module or do you operate in any other country?

In the latter case, it might be better using external payroll solutions rather than the standard US one.

Hi Ludwig,

Thank you for prompt response.

We are planning to use payroll in Australia and we have used payroll previously in multiple regions by doing some customizations and disabling US tax engine.

My questions is that do we have direct integration between payroll in D365 and Time and attenance module? Could you please respond in this.

Hello Huzaifa,

Thank you for using Microsoft Dynamics Communities! Unfortunately, there is no integration between the payroll module and the Time and Attendance modules. In order to accomplish this, you would need to create a customization to have an integration between Time and Attendance and the payroll module.
