Changing a Worker's Personnel Number

Hi,

Is there a way that a worker's personnel number can be changed once the record has been created and is in use? We have a client who would like to change the current system-generated personnel numbers to reflect the employee's payroll number. The numbering sequence has been changed to allow manual numbering for future hires but they would like to update the existing records. I'm not sure if this is possible...

Hi Mancini,

It is not possible to change the personnel number in Dynamics 365 HR. The only option to change it would be creating new worker records.
