Hi All,

I faced the issue about deploying ssrs report via power shell, when i tried to run the script K:\AosService\PackagesLocalDirectory\Plugins\AxReportVmRoleStartupTask\DeployAllReportsToSsrs.ps1 -PackageInstallLocation "K:\AosService\PackagesLocalDirectory"

it shows the error like this :

DeployAllReportsToSSRS.ps1 : The term 'DeployAllReportsToSSRS.ps1' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet,
function, script file, or operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the
path is correct and try again.

What am i miss here? could anybody give advice about it?

Thanks,

Masha

    Hi Masha,

Is this a VM deployed on Azure or a locally hosted? Either way, please check which drive contains the AOSService folder and try replacing "K:" with the drive letter.

Hi Masha, In that case you don't need to replace the drive letter. Could you please verify the following? -

    1. Is the file "DeployAllReportsToSsrs.ps1" present under K:\AosService\PackagesLocalDirectory\Plugins\AxReportVmRoleStartupTask?

    2. Did you try running powershell as administrator?

    Hi Gunjan,

    1. yes it's under K:\AosService\PackagesLocalDirectory\Plugins\AxReportVmRoleStartupTask

    2. yes i tried it as administrator

    Thanks,

    Masha

The issue doesn't seem to be related to D365 but rather basic Windows / Powershell command launching. The error tells you that it doesn't find the PowerShell commandlet for some reason or another.

Try to split the problem to smaller pieces, this way you can find where the issue is.

    1) Open PowerShell as administrator

    2) Type command "cd K:\AosService\PackagesLocalDirectory\Plugins\AxReportVmRoleStartupTask\" (without quotation marks)

    3) Type command ".\DeployAllReportsToSsrs.ps1 - PackageInstallLocation K:\AosService\PackagesLocalDirectory" (without quotation marks)

    Hi Masha,

You can go to the folder "K:\AosService\PackagesLocalDirectory\Plugins\AxReportVmRoleStartupTask". Go to File > Open Windows Powershell > Open Windows Powershell as administrator.

    pastedimage1607338807698v1.png

Type this command - .\DeployAllReportsToSsrs.ps1 - PackageInstallLocation "K:\AosService\PackagesLocalDirectory" and check if that works for you.

    Hi All,

Thanks for all your feedback before, the script ran well and everything is fine now.

    Regards,

    Masha
