Greeting folks,

I would like to get a list of users to use it in an SSRS report. In my report I need to have list of all users with their security roles. Why would I use SysUserInfo over Userinfo table or vice versa?

Thanks

The UserInfo table contains a list of users and their active directory and default information.

The SysUserInfo table contains system-wide user option settings for each user.

The SecurityRole table hold all Security Roles, In this table has two important fields “Name” which is descriptive and second one is AOTName. If you get the current customer assigned role using then this AOTName will be return.

The SecurityUserRole table holds many to many relation with security and User.

Thanks Rustem, Can you please exmplain a bit more about what you mean by "The SysUserInfo table contains system-wide user option settings for each user." what information is in sysUserinfo which is not in UserInfo?

    Thanks again

Why don't you simply take a look? You'll see that SysUserInfo has fields like Email, Language, Theme, DefaultCountryRegion, docuHandlingActive and so on.
