Cannot Print Report

Hello everyone,

I have a problem regarding AX 2012 Printing. I have installed a new AX Client, all modules are working fine but upon printing any reports, there is an error(please see screenshot). I was able print a test page on the printer locally, but from AX Client, the error appears below:

Make sure when you attach scheenshots, you do not paste it in the edit box, since that will not work.

Save screenshot as a file, then attach image from a file.

Pasting the exact error message would also be helpful, which you could copy-paste from the InfoLog.

Hi sir,

Sorry about that. The error was "The request failed with HTTP status 502: Host not found."

Hi jobert..kindly bypass the proxy...also it happened when server is too much busy and so many things in line..

If you are not able to print any reports, that means you either did not install the SQL Server Reporting Services and the reporting components for AX then deploy your reports, or in AX you forgot to configure your report server for the AX AOS instance which you are using with your client.

Hi All.

Good morning. Thanks for the reply. I have already installed the Report Viewer and Chart Controls for .Net in the client. Our users are using remote desktop to login to the AX Client and the printing is fine. I tried to install the ax client on the host pc. Am I missing any components/hotfix for this?

Hi Yasir,

Thanks for the reply. Can you give me instruction how to bypass the proxy? I try to disable the firework in the client pc but still I cannot print.

Dear Jobart...you also can remove usage data...you can bypass proxy

Hi Yasir,

How are you. I already clear the usage data. I already put the Proxy Server in the LAN Settings, but still it shows thesame error(the request failed with HTTP status 502: Host not found).
