error while installing visual studio 2010 for NAV 2013

Hello All

I tried to install the visual studio 2010 on windows 8 for NAV 2013.

When I am running the setup files I am getting the error saying that it cannot be installed.

Does visual studio 2013 can be used for NAV 2013 for report designing?

    is your os version x86 or x64 based ?

    what kind of visual studio edition do you have, express, prof., ... ?

    the visual studio version should match the os type and should be the prof. edition.
