Role Tailored Client over WAN

Hi All,

I am trying to set up a WAN Scenario with a server and a remote client.

The client is not in the server's domain , and I would like to do basic authentication.

Is this feasible ?

I tried to config the server with SSL but on win2003 server I had issues with the cerfificate settings. But that is another story.

thanks,

Gabor

What version of NAV are you talking about?

For R2, you can refer this link for help - msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg502476.aspx

    Hi,

Basic authentication(username/password) should always be used with certificates for security reasons. Isn't the certificate approach working for you?

    Thanks,

    Chet
