Hi,

We developed an interface with a thrid party system using XMLport. It is 3 tier installation.

The problem is when I run the interface using Classic Client; it runs successfully. However when I run the interface using RTC; it gives me an error : "No execute permission on 'InboundSales' XmlPort with ID 50003".

This is an XMLport which we are running thorugh the codeunit.

Any suggestions pls.

One more question is that is it compulsory that my file folder should be on the machine where the service layer is installed.

Hi, This appears to be a permissions issue. Please confirm that the user has the execute permission of 50003 XmlPort.

In addition, pay attention to whether the id of this object has been assigned in the License file.

Is it the same user that is running the process?

Make sure the user is assigned a role that has xmlport in the permission.

Usually the all role has xmlport with ID 0 which allows all xmlport to be run.
