AOS carshed with Access violation exception

We have 3 AOS and 1 DB Server for our Ax 2012 R3 Cu8 environment running on production. Last night around 2 am - AOS1 crashed and created memory dump with following detail.

In aoscrash.dmp the assembly instruction at Ax32Serv!SqlStmt::restoreSql+3b in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\Server\R3AOS1\bin\Ax32Serv.exe from Microsoft Corporation has caused an access violation exception (0xC0000005) when trying to read from memory location 0x00000000 on thread NN

After AOS1 crash, DB Server reached critical memory usage. Following morning, users were not able to execute operations and were getting several errors in Ax while accessing any record or even when trying to open Ax client. All labels were messed up. When we tried to restart all servers, DB server took 40 minutes to restart. Any idea what it could be?

    Hi Usman,

There can be a lot of issues causing this behavior. This will require monitoring your servers. E.g: What is the memory consumption of the AOS and SQL servers during the day? Are there any heavy batch jobs which needs to run around that time? Do you have looked at Windows event logs to see if you can find some related information?

Probably the best would be contact your partner for some assistance.

    HI

I have some questions for you, too. Have you solved it yet?

Paicy, please open a new thread and explain your situation with as much details as possible, similar to the original post.
