remove and reinstall nav AND sql server.

use a different cronus database backup for the nav service.

when reinstalling choose a different name for the nav service instance.

maybe has to do with a duplicate name in the system/AD.

    I did as said,

    1. Uninstalled NAV, SQL.

    2. Restored a new standard database.

    3. Created new services with new instance name, new ports.

But no success, still same error.

then it could be that you have a major system problem, a corrupted system file. check your system with sfc tool.

    Hi Manish,

you should uninstall as archer said in earlier post and after that delete temp, installation directory, restart the machine. Again try to install and check it's working or not.

    Hi Sandeep,

I had done everything but no success.

I think there might be a registry problem, cause i was having all version from NAV 2009 R2, 2013,2013 R2, 2015 & 2016 installed on a single machine.

Every NAV service instance i was having different ports,

    NAV 2009 R2- 6046

    NAV 2013 - 7046

    NAV 2013 R2 - 7146

    NAV 2015 - 8046

    NAV 2016 - 9046.

Every thing was working fine and that too in domain, last what happened was a update of windows for windows 10, but that should not have changed anything i suppose.

Now i have un-installed all version of Dynamics NAV, uninstalled SQL, deleted temp files, folders related to Dynamics NAV.

Looks like i need to reinstall windows 10 as a last option.

    Hi Manish,

Do one thing did you try it on different machine to check that there is nothing wrong with  setup and other content?

If it works there then you have to find out registry with Dynamics and deleted from over there. after that restart the machine to apply the registry changes then try to install and check the connectivity.

The problems related to mscorlib.dll usually are associated to Silverlight. If you have Microsoft Silverlight try to uninstall or upgrade/repair.

You can also try manually registering this dll.

    Good luck!
