Hi Community,
I am trying to customize an oob button such that it is visible for few users and not visible to other. I have written an JS for the same and added it to the button through ribbon work bench. The button visibility is working as expected but the default functionality of the button got overridden, i.e nothing is happening on click of the button.
Is there a way to do the same with out affecting the default functionality of the OOB button.
Thanks in Advance.
Hi Satyanand,
It’s so strange, maybe you can refer following link to hide button based on security role:

Satyanand, NEVER customize OOTB command bar buttons in Dynamics 365. You should always create a custom button to avoid exactly the kinds of issues you've encountered and solution layering issues.
