Setting "set regarding" to multiple opportunities

we need to set / track emails to multiple opportunities for example a client replies in one email on two opportunities. We have been copying the email and pasting in our inbox and then using the add on setting each email to the relevant opportunity as i understand you can only track to one entity however recently the second email is getting stuck saying "Track pending" and therefore not showing on the opportunity timeline. 

Any suggestions of a fix?

    An email or appointment tracked with Dynamics 365 App for Outlook shows as "Track pending" (microsoft.com)

    Thanks for the reply, we have checked the setting and all ok, i don't think this is the problem as the a user can track some emails but not others. It is normally when we have copied the email and pasted it in the inbox that it sticks on track pending.  Thank you anyway for the suggestion.
