Hello Folks,

I want to be able to run a regular sales report which will show me the item quantity and value sold month by month over a given date range and be able to filter the report by Salesperson and/or Country/Region. Something like the inventory sales statistics report although this wont allow me to filter by ship to country/region nor will it provide a month by month view over a given date range.

I had a look at the MS Create Analysis Reports but it seemed pretty complicated and didn't make much sense to me.

Hi Ben,

Analysis Reports can achieve that, since out of the box there is no straight sales report will allow you to do that.

Also i can suggest to user Jet Reports which its integrate it with Business Central and you can create solid reports.

Thanks for your reply. I read that MS help article before I posted this question and have re-read it a few times since and I don't really understand what it means. Is it possible to get some online help with setting these reports up?

Hello,

If this does not exist out of the box, you can either ask your partner to develop it for you or considering taking a look at Power Bi or consider using the other suggestions from Mohammed.

Adding to other replies... Analysis Views all you to slice and dice certain transactions with filters and dimensions. To help you here I am attaching a Manual on Analysis Views. Its from NAV 2013 but the process and concepts are the same. It will produce the report you want.

Now if you are more an Excel person, Jet Reports can accomplish this easily. I am attaching a sample one.
