Changed type selection in sales lines

Why is my type selection in sales lines looking like this: , instead of like this: ? 
 
It causes problem with comment exports on the documents.

    As Yun Zhu mentioned this is how the field is out of the box. I'm not sure the exact version but it changed very recently.
