Dear All,

Greetings

I want to get a FS(Financial Statement) for Profit and loss and balance sheet department wise. The excel which is been exported by FS do not tally with the Trail balance report in AX. The FS some departments are missed and some departments the balances are not calculated correctly

I aint a Finance person .You inputs will be greatly appreciated. PS. I have ensured the dimension sets are again rebuild balances and update balances.The year and column and structure are also defined but no luck.

Kindly help as I am new to AX (version AX 2012)

Hi,

Do you post the financial dimension department with every transaction that you record in your system?

If the answer to this question is "no", then you cannot generate a balance sheet and possibly also not an income statement separated by department.
