Hi, I have in the database a text field where I save the path to bmp files (Example: \\files\items\32323.bmp)

I need load the images in report builder, but:

If I insert an image and select the field in database mode I get an error as it is not a blob field

If I select external, and I select the text field the image doesnt appears

Any idea? thanks

    Hi

As Binil said, you need to use Embedded, you can refer the below how to Embed an Image in RDLC.

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../ms155899.aspx

Agreed with Saurav. You need to insert the image with Embedded option.

    Hi

Using C\AL you can do this in two ways.

    1. define one variable for Path, add it to dataset, in the rdlc, image properties, select the source expression instead of actual path, for this you need to use EnableExternalImages Property

    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff477109.aspx

    2. Import the picture in to Rec temporarily, and show it in the RDLC, for example you can use Picture in Company information.

As Raj suggested you need to use temporary table to store the image from outside and then display from temporary table on report.

This sounds well, I will try it. Thanks!
