Validate retail catalog - channel has not been published?

Hi experts,

I'm trying to validate a retail catalog in R3 and I get an error message that the channel has not been published and that product listings cannot be created.

But this is a brick and mortar store so there is nothing to publish in R3.

What am I missing here? I have used catalogs before but I cannot remember this one.

Found the issue.

I need to publish each store separately in the "store product attributes".

Publish does not work if I have a category linked, need to remove the category and publish and then add it again.

Bug..

am creating call center, can you advise why am not getting publish button to be enabled. is that am missing anything here..
