Hi there,

we want to find a possibility to deploy a portal on our development instance, in order to make some customizing to some portal related buttons in a ribbon. Portals is already deployed on prod, but we want to find a way to deploy on dev without purchasing another portal in order to avoid costs.

Is there a way?

Thanks in advance.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

thanks for your reply. I don't want to change my current portal, because I need it for my prod instance. I want to deploy a development portal on my dev instance in order to customize some portal related buttons in a ribbon (hide them to be accurate). Do you understand what I mean?

Is there a possibility to deploy a development portal or something like this?

    Hi Thomas,

Please go to the below URL and login as a global admin

    https://make.powerapps.com

Select the environment from the drop down at the right side top of the ribbon to which you would like to add a portal add-on

Select create on the left pane - Portal from blank or you if you scroll down you will see the templates at the bottom of the page

Use this option to create a trial portal add on for existing environments in your tenant.

You can refer the following link as well docs.microsoft.com/.../create-dynamics-portal

    Best Regards,
