It is still the Resco based mobile app for field service unless it just changed recently.  We just worked with it a few months ago in a new environment.

Does Microsoft have a Field Service mobile app or do we have to use the Resco Mobile app?

    Hi Shaabaaz,

It is basically the same application.  This is articulated in the first step of installation as well (step 1):  docs.microsoft.com/.../install-the-mobile-app

    Hope this helps.

Field Service Mobile App with the truck icon is the Resco App customised for Field Service and the license(Resco) is included in the Field Service license.

    Hi,

Field service mobile app is specifically designed for field agents .Resco Mobile app is a general mobile crm platform built on top of Dynamic CRM.Both have their own advantages and disadvantages and  its difficult to comprehend and recommend until we do entire requests analysis .

Field service mobile app will be integrated with Dynamic 365 mobile app in future, which is a great advantage and no need to customize seperately for CRM web and Mobile app, whatever customizations you do in the web will be reflectedin the mobile app.So if you want one line answer,  it may be advisable to go ahead with field service mobile app.But answer depends on the requirements.
