I’m new to a company using GP inside of AWS. When i send eft remittancess in a batch payment, it is taking 2 mins per remittance to go out and arrive in the sent items in outlook. Is this length of time normal??
Also noone where I work can tell me of a report which will show what invoices relate to what payment number over a period of time (detailed transactional history) in any easily readable form which is suitable to forward to a customer or read myself.
I have seen GP hosted in AWS take more time to update MS Outlook when emailing but entirely depending on the location of the exchange server and the size of the remittance batch. I would not raise concern over two minutes.
Outside of customer statement forms, your best bet would be to:
* build something in SSRS
* use a smartlist and export it to a formatted excel (better yet, build it as an excel refreshable report)
Thanks soo much for your .
Your saying 2 mins per email remittance you wouldn’t worry about? Took 104 mins to get 73 out yesterday? I thought that over an hr was a little excessive…
Andra, I can't really speak for the time.
You can reprint a check stub showing what invoices the payment paid using the instructions below. It isn't the greatest looking report compared to an EFT Remittance report but you can modify it.
