We would like to use the new feature “recurring invoices” but have a problem with the privileges.
As admin we have all three navigation options for /Accounts payable > Recurring invoices/:
Vendor invoice templates
Generate vendor recurring invoices
Post pending vendor recurring invoices)
When adding the privileges to our customized accounting role we miss the one to open page /Generate vendor recurring invoices/; this option is missing in the navigation of the user with the accounting role.
The privileges I assigned are:
Maintain recurring vendor invoice groups
View recurring vendor invoice groups
Maintain recurring vendor invoices
View recurring vendor invoices
View recurring invoice history
There is a privilege “Generate invoices from an existing recurring invoice template” but it is for ATO-name “CustFreeInvoiceRecurWFApprGenProcess”, i.e. the customer process and has, as expected, no effect.
This appears to be a missing menu item on a privilege or missing privilege. You can solve it by adding the action menu item VendRecurrenceInvoiceServiceOperation to a privilege.
You can also create a support ticket for Microsoft Support, but when it is acknowledged as a bug, you still would need to wait for a next release.
