I have imported the data in below sequence:

    Hi,

Did you try to trace the code? Maybe it gives you more information about your issue.

    Thanks,
    Waed Ayyad

    Hi,

I would advice if you export one record from the entity, then try to import it again to see if any errors appear. Then if no issues, use the file you exported to change some of the fields value that matches what you need then try and import it and see if the issue persists.

Also if the data you are importing depends on some tables, then make sure the data does exist in the other tables.

    Thanks,
    Layan Jweihan

    Hi Layan,

    Thankyou for you response.

I have tried creating the record and then importing the same by making some changes however it doesn't work. The same error will come.

It will happen only if you are trying to import expense categories which will be used in project also. If you try to create project categories through DMF it will work.

    Regards

    Hi,
To import a project category, you need to follow this sequence:
    1-Shared category
    2-Category table
    3-Project category group
    4-Project category

It appears that the Category table is missing in your case. You can try exporting the data using the entity and then use the template to import the data.

    Best regards,

I had the same issue and MS suggested to remove the field USEINPROJECT in the expense category from the mapping table before importing. I have tested and it is working fine. I only used copy into legal entity functionality.
