    Hey Opick,

As Suresh mentioned that you should be SUPER permission in the database for adding permission in a permission set.

Also Make sure that with Super Permission assigned to your ID should have Company Name as Blank.

To assign user roles, you required have necessary permissions and that is why you are getting this particular error.

If you required to have those permissions, contact the user who has the super user permissions already and asked him to assign you the super user permissions as well. That will resolve the issue you are facing currently.

When it is blank that user has the global access, which means he has the access/permission to all the companies available in the database.

user with blank company means he can access all companies

if we specify user with company name means he is super user for that company only which means he still have some restrictions.

so it should be blank to super user who needs to give permissions sets.

    Hi,

I am facing the same problem

I have created a user with Super permissions and blank company in D365 financials. But when this user sets permissions for other users,  this error still appears- You Do not have the following permissions on TableData Permission Set : Insert

Please suggest how can I solve this?
