hi expert, i have a query, we have customized our user security, for that purpose we have designed custom roles,now we want to remove some common command button (Delete,Cancel) on all forms for specific roles not for all custom roles. when i just disabled the command button on a form, so the same behavior were applying for all our custom roles, so how to achieve this?

can it possible that command button like delete and cancel for which no menu items were defined are disable only for the specific users on requirement ,? if yes then please just guide me

man you need to fix this by traversing each role.

if you will change the original AOT objects it will effect on all roles.

what you need to do is, open each role one by one in SDT and change permission level form Delete to View or Eidt (as per need). you need to repeat this practice for each role.

above practice should be for a kind of command button which is linked to DS for creation or deletion of datasources.

In addition if there are any buttons which need manual permission you need to fix those by dragging those under forms node of any privilege

YOU SHOULD NOT DIRECTLY DISBALE FORM BUTTONS , BY OPENING ANY FORM IN AOT

DO IT BY MODIFYING EACH ROLE
