    Hi,

what exactly do you mean with "offline mode".
Dynamics AX client requires a connection the the Application Server. If the client has no connection you cann't work with AX.

Hi, Thanks for replying. i meant "Offline mode" as working at Remote site that is having the AX client in remote site, work locally (not connected to main server)and synchronizing records with main server. Is it possible? Expecting reply.

    Hi,

We are working on a remote data capture & sync solution for our client , where the client wants to capture sales data from the remote site & post it back to head office AX system. If you are interested in learning more please drop an email.

You cannot «work offline» using a standard AX client but usually you don't need all the functionality to be available offline. There's Microsoft Dynamics Mobile solution available for Ms Dynamics AX and Ms Dynamics NAV (I believe the latest version is 1.5 - the link is available if you have access to PartnerSource or CustomerSource). It comes with development tools and a Mobile Sales solution ready out of the box.

If you are looking to work with Vendors offline, then we have developed a Vendors Journal Snap In for Dynamics AX 2009.

The Vendors Journal Snap-In enables more productive meetings by allowing employees to capture all the information needed about a particular vendor, take that information with them, view it and update it, all the while remaining offline from the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 system. It does this by capturing the vendor information in a Microsoft Office InfoPath 2007 form that pulls the data from Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009.

Once you are back in the office, you can sync up the InfoPath form and update your AX 2009 records.

You can learn more, and download the Vendors Journal Snap In for free, at:
