Error "Logon attempt failed" while trying to access reports in Microsoft dynamics AX

While trying to access reports from AX2012, we are getting the error /Logon attempt failed/. While checking the application log in the event viewer. The below mentioned error is displayed with the error ID 1000. This occurs at least weekly once during early morning. Please help us with the root cause for this error and also the resolution that needs to be taken,
