    Hi Raziq.Ali,

How did you update the cost price in the item requirement? Isn't this field greyed out?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Raziq.Ali,

I believe that this is because of your R2 system version. I checked in this in my current system where the field is greyed out. I believe that this is the reason for your question because your system behaves as expected. The cost price and the sales prices of inventory items cannot be influenced in the project module. Note that there is also not cost and sales price setup form available there because those prices are taken from the inventory module / item setup.

You can check on LCS whether a hotfix resolves the issue. Alternatively, make an adjustment to the field that does not allow users editing it because this is what standard AX does resp. should do.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
