Edit the SalesOrder lines in Dynamics365 finance and operation Mobile App

In D365fo Mobile App I am creating a sales order which has multiples lines of records.

I want the facility to edit each line in each order created.

following the process to record the steps to edit is not fulfilling my requirement as it is not allowing me to edit all the lines.

instead, it allows editing the one line of each order created.

Can anyone help me with this?

Are you using the standard sales order mobile workspace? docs.microsoft.com/.../sales-orders-mobile-workspace

Or did you create your own? If so, did you follow the tutorial which is provided with the documentation? docs.microsoft.com/.../mobile-platform-home-page

What exactly do you mean with "editing the one line of each order"?

The standard workspace is developed as view only. With the tutorial it would be possible to create orders.

i am creating the new workspace of my own.

the workspace created will have header and lines part.

i want to add action to line level to edit the record created.

if i record the pocess to edit the line and create action then in mobile app it allows only the first record to edited.

i have followed the tutorial but that dosent fullfill my concern.

I don't know exactly what you have configured. I have not seen a similar issue before. Have you also considered using Power Apps instead of the mobile workspaces?

My req is for the Mobile workspace. I want to add an edit option for each line in a single sales order.

Hi Prajesh,

As mentioned off-line, I had some troubles with my environment. In the end, I solved it by re-installing the Dynamics 365 F&O mobile application. So, apologies for the late answer.

I have looked at the details. You shared an app with an inventory journal with the issue. In this app, you are mixing details from the journal header and the lines. I would suggest to remove the item details when you create a new journal header. Then I'm able to create a new journal and can see the action to add a new line. The header grid is opening a page 'Inventory details' where you had added the option to edit the line where you have some issues. As the main data source on this page is the journal table header, there is no reference for a selected record. From the grid on this 'Inventory details' you can add a new page with only the details of one single journal line with all the details. If you then add the action 'Edit' and use the recording to add the journal line fields, it should work.

As a reference, you can export e.g. the Project time entry app and import it again with a new name. You can then review how Microsoft has create the details page with one time entry line and an edit function.

Apart from this, you already have a quite "advanced" app with even some logic in a .js file. Nice job so far! (In my environment I disabled the check for the negative quantity as my numeric keyboard on the phone is not having a minus sign. I had to use the voice input before I removed it)

Hello !!

From the standard sales order mobile workspace, adding the part that appears in the tutorial Mobile tutorial 1,2,3,4,5.

I have managed to make it possible to create orders and order lines.

However, I am not able to add order line editing or deleting.

The most that I have been able to do, has been a very strange thing, when I try to delete, I get a sync error:

For best results. save with a standard or published view; otherwise, the pre-production may not be reliable.

But the funny thing is that it deletes all the order lines and the error is not resolved.

Any idea how to solve the problem?

Any xml or business logic example to guide me?
