Only read the license plate for the sales order picking WMS

Hello,

Please can you help me with the next doubt. I have the sales order with two lines. I create the works for to do the picking for this sales order. The system suggest the locations that I need to do the pick up for this items. At the mobile device appears the item with the product dimensions but I need that the system only ask the license plate. The system limit the worker with the item and product dimensions so the worker must first search the item on the location and after read the bar code for this item. This is a additional work for the worker.

On the Mobile Device Menu Item that you have created for Sales order picking, what is 'Directed by' set to?

Are you trying to limit what the worker has to scan when they go to pick? That is controlled by the Work Confirmation Setup button on the mobile device menu item.

Hello Beth,

I dont have any configuration in this form. Is possible that the mobile devices dont ask me the ítem and only ask me the license plate in the location suggested

Do you have a screenshot of that setup?

Maybe it requires item scanning on multi item locations? Honestly I don't think I've tested that.

Hi Nicolas,

As far as I can see, as standard, AX does what you want it to do.

With 'User directed' picking, the mobile device first asks you to 'Scan a Work Id or a LP Id'. Which are you giving it?

Does the LP you are picking from have more than one item on it?

Hello Guy, I suspected this.

for you first question, I scan the work id. I have not tried if I scan the LP Wich work the system take.

And the second, my LP only have one ítem that have serial number.

Weird. Maybe try adding an entry for Pick and leave all the checkboxes unchecked? I've never see it need that, but might be worth trying.
