Can I create a change-based rule, which reports when a field 'has changed', but only when the previous value is non-blank?
(In this case, a date field)
Thanks

You can create a trigger on MS SQL server to trace changes on that field.
or
Configure Dynamics to Log DB, just go to Administration module Then under Setup Select Database Log click New and follow the steps. You need to make sure the table is added to Database log system first (SysDatabaseLogWizard::tableAllowed).

Thanks for the reply - I already actually have the SalesTable setup on the database log, so that's fine, but the practical example is where the production department needs to know within a short time-frame that the customer's confirmed ship date has changed...
I 'successfully' setup a change-based alert which sends a pop-up to production when the date 'has changed', but this also picks up where the previous date was blank - ie. this is the first instance of a confirmed ship date.
I would like to say - only do this where previous date !"" - tried this in the select filter, but it did not work (presumably because the select filter is looking at the new value)
Hope this makes sense!
