Wrong number of arguments for method

Dears,

I have problem with the method called editContactPersonName()[Related to SalesQuotationTable]. I want to use this method in PSAQUOTAIONDP RDP class so I can display the info in Reports related to editContactPersonName(). I was insert above method like m_tPSAQuotationsTmp.ContactName = m_tSalesQuotationTable.editContactPersonName(); but there is an error "The wrong number of arguments has been specified for the method.".

Pleased Help me and Really appreciate for earliest reply..

You forgot to call the method with parameters (boolean _set, ContactPersonName _name).

By the way, "SSRS" doesn't look like the most descriptive title for your question. Please pay more attention to it next time.

You have to pass the parameters, it is not optional in function.

Thanks for your Reply Sir. I'm new in X++ , Now this time I called above method like m_tPSAQuotationsTmp.ContactName = m_tSalesQuotationTable.editContactPersonName(boolean _set, ContactPersonName _name); still there is an error "Variable boolean has not been declared.". I declared the variable in class declaration like boolean _set;

you should not pass with declaration, you should pass value

m_tSalesQuotationTable.editContactPersonName(true/false, name of contact person);

I don't know your scenario.

option 1:

m_tSalesQuotationTable.editContactPersonName(false, ' ');

Option 2:

m_tSalesQuotationTable.editContactPersonName(true, 'nameofcontact');
