Mandatory sales tax /vat for all sale order & Purchase order

Hi professionals,

Good day,

I want to mandate item sale tax group and sale tax group in all sale orders and purchase orders ,if it is not given it should show error or warning. How it is possible in AX

Hi Ajith,

Set sales tax group and Item sales tax group as mandatory in form level.

Hi ajithkumar,

Try Tax / Setup / Parameters / General ledger parameters tab Sales tax - Check sales tax group = Error.

Thanks, But it allows blank without any error ,it showing error if there is a combination error

Hi ajithkumar v p,

In addition to the GL parameter that Maxim_msk mentioned, you can make use of the sales tax settings and validations options at the ledger account level.

There you can specify for those automatic ledger accounts that are used for your PO postings what tax codes are allowed to be used.

By specifying a list of codes you can avoid situations where users do not select a combination consisting of item sales tax group + sales tax group that leads to no sales tax code.
