in AX under command=>setup a box appears with layout information.  On the right hand side their is a button saying 'load'.  I originally hit this and it showed me my saved setups.  As I was trying to delete one of the setups, I right clicked and a 'hide' option appeared.  I hit it and now I can now longer see anything but the top bar that says configuration when I hit the 'load' button.  Additionally, nothing appears when I attempt to hit the 'retrieve from user' button either.  How do I show my previous setups !!!????  HELP PLEASE !!!

Go to SysLastValue table, find the record for your user and the form in question and delete it.

Menu: Tools | Options and then Usage data button. Find the relevant record(s) filtering on user and form and delete.

Sorry, I didn't realize that you may not have access to AOT.

If you really don't see anything from the form (so you can't right-click it and going to form setup), you'll have to ask an administrator to reset it for you.

Aha, I thought it's exactly the form he is talking about, i.e. that he prevent himself from doing this. But I probably misunderstand the description.

Hello, sorry for refreshing old post, but I did the same thing - hiding saved configurations. How can I make it visible again?

    Thank you.

skiangel3 had the solution, but it is a little cryptic. This requires edit access to the AX form SysLastValue or write-database access to SysLastValue table.

You've to delete the row  that has UserId  = <AxUserId> and ElementName = SysPick and RecordType = 29 (UserSetup)
