I am looking for some help if possible? When we got D365, our inventory was set up with what I call default locations for each item. This is starting to cause some headaches because when it comes to posting pick list journals, D365 is looking for stock in the default location so we're having to manually select the correct location from the list.
Is there a way where these locations can be changed? I understand about default receipt and issue locations but this is separate. For example, where I go to released products and check on-hand stock, there's a line for this default location and then a line of the location where the stock actually is. I am thinking it might be a picking location?
Has anyone come across this before?
