    RE: Change receipt font size

Yes you can absolutely do that for all of the reports in AX.

You need to have knowledge on SSRS to do the required changes

    Is this AX for Retail?

If so I don't think the receipt is an SSRS report.

    RE: Change receipt font size

    Hi Atef,

The sales receipt which is printed from the POS is not SSRS report. This report can be functionally design in the Retail module under receipt format. To change the font size of the receipt, you can either check the OPOS printer settings or modify the printing.dll to increase the font size.

    RE: Change receipt font size

    Hi,

This is not an SSRS report. The POS Receipt Format Designer is the functional way of changing the look of the POS receipts, but the font is actually hard-coded in the Printer.cs file. Any and all printings of the POS pass through this code before being sent to the printer as a huge string.

To change the font size, go into the Services\Peripherals\Printer.cs file. In the "fields" region are the default font settings.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you drastically change the font size to something larger, you will want to also increase the defaultLineHeight to accommodate the new size. If not, the text will all run together and you'll go crazy for weeks trying to fix it. :-)
