We have recently gone live with Customer Service Workspace for a small group of our CSRs to replace Unified Service Desk. We have configured some Productivity Macros and Agent Scripts along with some customizations which launch some of our tabs through the Omni-channel JS library (microsoft.apm.xxxx). We have a couple of Custom Pages running to launch some reports which utilize a pcf component persistent website container which is an iframe which allows our reports to not be refreshed whenever the tab is navigated off to another tab.
Issue:
After our users had been using the Power App (Customer Service Workspace) for several weeks, we got some reports that the application would SLOW DOWN to a crawl after several hours of use. We looked at the dev tools on the browser and we noticed that CSW was slowing using more and more memory (heap). We asked the users to clear the browser cache which would speed things back up for a while until it reaches the slowdown point again the next day or the same day. We cannot find any memory leak issues in our customizations. We noticed that if we open a NEW browser tab with CSW it will perform as normal without any slowdown? We have not been able to find why the application slows down for our users daily.
NOTE: We tested this in both Chrome and Edge both of which will experience the slowdown issues.
Has anyone else experienced this issue or know of anywhere we can look to possible resolve this issue?
We are also experiencing these performance issues. After making a few calls the pages become slow and unresponsive. Fully restarting the browser helps but not for long.
chrome and edge memory are increasing fast without a noticeable reason. Microsoft support is not able to help at this point. It is beginning the become a major issue for our agents.
We will now explore a week with disabling transcript and recording with the hope to eventually find something which might bring an improvement.
Were you able to identify actions having a positive impact?
We are expereincing the same issue with Customer Service Workspace.
We have some JS running on the enhanced case form with a small pcf that runs at load. We are experiencing the same issue, users are clock their local heap memeory when opening more than a single session within customer experince. The page lags and becomes unresponsive
Did you manage to find a resolution to this issue?
Thanks for your time
