Production Order BOM lines are missing

Hi,

I have a problem where I could see some production orders where some of the FG BOM lines are not exploded when production order is estimated or started. I have checked the BOM lines setup of the found line that seems to be missing when production is estimated or started and their line type = Phantom and item type = BOM. The item lines are not stopped. The production order parameters is correctly setup to explode BOM (I have tested this by creating new production orders), however there are old production order that have missing BOM lines.

What else should I check?

Appreciate for any help or inputs.

Cheers

Please validate the ProdBOM lines of the old production order

As we know once prodcution order is created BOM lines of the FC BOM get updated to the ProdBOM and from the rest of the functionality works

What I suspect that ProdBOM lines as not having appropriate setup at line level.

You can find ProdBOM line for each production order

Please validate and let us know your findings

    Hi Jixee,

I'm not familiar with your setup of this module. I'm also not familiar with your processes and data.

A phantom means that the phantom item will not be on your production order, but the BOM lines of this phantom will be exploded in the production order BOM.

You tell there are old production orders that miss some BOM lines. Could it be the case that the setup has been changed after creating these production orders? Are all new prodution orders correct?

You can also check if the BOM version used is/was active at time of creating the production order.
