Look up last purchase cost when using G/L Account type

How do you quickly look up a purchase order based on a specific description?  Most of our purchases have been made using the G/L Account type on the Purchase Order so I was thinking I could do some kind of lookup on the first Description field.  Any ideas?

I have the same question (0)

You can add a new field in Purchase Header with type flowfield looking up description from  purchase line . then pulled out this field on your purchase order list screen

Thanks for the quick response, but I do not have a type called "flowfield" that I can find.  I am using Business Central online and waiting for the April 2019 release to be done.

If you are using G/L, you will need to customize the BC using extension to get the data from Purchase Invoice Line table.
