I found that the action designer exist in properties, but not show in Page at all. May I know why and how to do the setting?

hi,
first only actions of type "Action" are shown as buttons. the other action types are group/container.
2 reasons:
* the property visible (--> properties window) of that action is set to false.
* there is no code in the action trigger (--> shortcut F9) or there is no value in property RunObject.

First of all, thanks for your replied.
I have been checked the 2 reasons that you mentioned above. For example, CreateFile Action. The properties of this action is default TRUE & exist code in action trigger also. But, it still no show in the page. May I know any others reason that can cause this happen?

one reason could be that you created a sub action group in the action group Payments. better add your actions directly under action group payments (or functions, ...) and give them the same PromotedCategory as the other actions in that group.
alternative: open the page menu --> customize --> "customize this page" --> tab "ribbon"
in the left list search for "Actions", click on the expanders (+). one of the entries/sub entries should be your new action. select your action. select the wanted action group in the right list. click the add button.

The sample I given above is standard page, I didn't modify anything. But I found that some action exist in Page - Action Designer but didn't show in Page. This make me more curios...How can do that?
Those actions are removed by opening in Config mode.
search for Config mode and you will understand.

we did have the same issue, it should be solved in the latest update rollups.
In some cases, parts of a page were not visible. i.e. In a journal, we could not select the batch.
Even restoring the page to default didn't bring it back.
This was resolved by going in the user metadata, and set a filter on the page id, and removing the lines.
However, this didn't solve our issue that when using the BOOKKEEPER profile, the user doesn' t have a 'new' action on the customer and vendor list page.
