I am looking to modify my sales invoice to sort by Item Class and subtotal each class. Any ideas. I have seen some posts but they don't quite get me there. Also exporting a report to a template or word just doesn't seem possible.
Modifying the SOP invoices to sort the items in a specific order can be a bit tricky. You can't add just the sort you want, but instead you need to add a bunch of sorts before your sort to ensure that the sorting of the documents themselves are not affected. This is different for the different SOP reports but in general you could start with a sort like the following and see if it works.
Sequence Number
Sop Type
Sop Number
Item Class
You will know if the sorting is not right because you will see where the it will only print one item per page for some SOP documents and if that happens the sorting options need a bit more adjustment.
