Syncing website browsing behaviour to customer records

We have an external site that uses an API to create customer records when users register.  We don'y currently use Marketing Forms.

Does anyone know a way to sync website behaviour to contacts?  We have the contact ID, and we're running the script on the frontend of the site.

I've been searching for ages and not finding much.

Thanks

James

    Hi James,

D365 Marketing has its own logic to track and record website behavior. Importing website tracking data from other systems into Marketing isn't supported, as it could have unexpected consequences. There are other ways to use user's web site interactions in Marketing. You can for example create a custom trigger in real-time marketing journey, which would start the customer journey based on data from your website tracking system. Learn more

    Hi JamesWylie,

If you don't use forms at all, please try creating a power page, or consider using a webAPI.

However, the use of embedded forms is still the simplest and most straightforward method:

It is not only possible to embed forms in external pages, but also to integrate externally created forms using form capturing.
