Is the organization service endpoint deprecated in the future?

Hello, I am new in this field. I have read the Dynamic 365 CE book, and I wonder that is the plugin, that is the organization service endpoint, will be terminated in the future?

From this statement "Organization service endpoints have been used since Dynamics CRM 2011 and will be deprecated in some Dynamics 365 CE future releases."

So that should I study more in web API instead?

    Yes, I would say if you are new then better to study more in Web API.

    Eventually the Web API will replace the Organization service and Organization Data service but both of these existing web services will be available to enable a gradual transition to a single Web API. The Web API should be your first choice for new development that will support Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises) and future versions of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises).

    Do we have an actual end of life date for Organization service. as we are in the plan of moving to REST endpoint so that we can plan our work.

    @shven no end of life date has been announced and I don't believe it will be announced in the next period. It still a vital part of the development cycle (plugins)

    @shven, what you need to do? both methods (Organization Service and Web API) are valid to connect to Dataverse, one is used in some scenarios, the other one in others. Organization Service is not going to be deprecated soon
