Update/Delete Bank Statement ( its name using apostrophe )

Dear All,

My user doing reconcile, Bank Statement name use apostrophe.

when my user process it, infolog said : query extended range failure, right parenthesis expected newar pos 40.

I cant update the name in the bank statement, can I update the name ? if yes, where it is ?

if I cant, if mean I will delete it, do it will double ?

Need your advice.

I searched and found that, there are apostrophe in bank statement name.

When I go to transaction, menu reconcile account was disabled, and I cant checked the data in grid.

HI Benjamin84,

You just delete this statement you created. Create new and select the same date and provide BS_IDR JULY 17 instead of BS_IDR JULY"17. This will resolve your issue.

Hi Nagendra,

I tried to delete it, infolog show : The transaction may not be deleted. Transactions exist in table BankAccountTrans.

I cant delete it, how to rollback transaction that already exist in table bankaccountrans ?

if its already deleted, I can create new.

if I create new now while the old one still there, wasn't it will be double ?

do one thing, create new Bank Statement with the value above by right this will bring all the transaction. reconcile and than try to delete the first one. by right you can delete after you do the second bank reconciliation. or alternative you can un-check the cleared check box on the first bank statement for all the transaction and delete

Hi Nagendra,

I check previous bank statement reconcile in may and june, and its use aposthophe too and it has no problem when posting.

do the reconcile account button will be enable if the value of unreconciled = 0 ?

If you can't delete, can you possibly rename the journal from the bank reconciliation header table?

I checked in January-june bank statement name, its use apostrophe too, but doesn't have problem.

do reconcile account button will enable if the unreconciled amount = 0 ?
