Item requirement in WBS

Posted on by

Hello,

I have created a project with project type "Time & Material." When I enter the WBS and I select "Details" in the scheduling view a window opens where I should be able to enter information for Item requirements - see screenshot below. Unfortunately the "New" button is disabled. How can I put information for Item requirements in a WBS?

An that is the point. The Item requirement has been published before -> so it is published. Nevertheless, when I click on "Details" I cannot enter any Item requirement. Did I miss something?

    Hi DNC

Have you published the WBS? An item rquirement cannot be created until the WBS is published. Then go back and click edit > WBS line >  Details and you should be able to create the item requirement.

Alternatively go to the project under Plan > Item Requirements > Transfer from WBS estimates. This will bulk create ALL the item requirements from the WBS based on the WBS line of type "Item"

    Kind Regards

    Mark
