We have some items that are considered stock today and have an item model group of the characteristic of stock but wish to change the items to non-stock items, so we want to change their item model group. Is there a way in AX to accomplish this in AX?

Hi,
You can do this using the next path (only for Service type items): Product information management > Setup > Conversions > Convert to products not stocked.
