Hi,

In the Molude, Project management and accounting for open invoice poposal system use to allow editing- Printing options,

Recently we moved to V41. now the system allows editing Invoice format only from in the Project contracts / Funding source but not in Invoice proposal. However, for Invoice header text can not be edited directly. Where this field can be edited in D365? Or where it can be set up to de edited?

Hi,

If you have the required security role, you can edit the project proposal and add free text to the "Invoice header text" field.

This might be a dumb question from my side, but have you opened the proposal in view-only mode? From your screen shot it looks like it (Blocked fields should be gray)

It's opening in view-only mode in my 10.0.41 box also.

If I click Edit it works fine.

Thank you for your reply.

Do you have system admin role? When click on edit, only system admin role allows to make changes for header in V41. On previous version, all users with necessary securities roles who work with proposals were able to make changes. In new V41 they can not.

Yeah I didn't try it with one of my test accounts. Version upgrades shouldn't break the standard security roles...

Have you customized the roles you use, or is it all standard roles?

I'll have a look with my security test account in a moment.

Just tested with all available *Project* roles with my test account, and they work as expected; It is some kind role/duty/privilege issue, unfortunately.
