How to remove filter that automatically filled in

Hello,

In one of my Inquiry form, if I open Filter, some field already filled in. Anyone knows how it's get there ? I feel odd as I'm a new user and I never key in this field. And if I check my Usage data, there is none of the suspected form. The form that I refer is Store Transaction from Retail > Inquiries > Store transactions

It looks like it is defaulted to date : From a week before up until today. Is there any setup defaulting this ?

Hi ShaqAX,

In standard they have added range for start and end date and also channel type.

Refer to the form "RetailTransactionTable" >> transactionTable(Datasource) - On the init method they are adding range and on the execute query method they are adding value to the range.

So this is the standard functionality.

Hi Girish,

I'm sorry, I'm very beginner on this development.

If by referring your advice, when I looked into Execute Query, I notice there is this "shouldSkipDefaultFilter" ->

And if I look into that function, it looks like it has logic to check the menuitem ->

Firstly, do you think I can use this "ShouldSkipDefaultFilter" to alway Yes/True ?

Secondly, I now confuse whether I should "alter" ExecuteQuery or "alter" the 2nd method that give value of "ShouldSkipDefaultFilter" ?. and by "alter", I believe it is mean I should create CoC ? may I be guided what the code looks like also ?

Or is there other way to omit the default ? is there any parameter or setting why it is defaulted a week before ?

There will be no parameter setup to avoid filter options. You need to do customization to achieve this.

Method you are trying to use COC is private method. So COC doesn't support private methods.

You need to call clearRanges method in executeQuery to remove the filters either by using event handler or COC.

Also note that clearing ranges will clear all the ranges in the form.
