ReportReport

Dear all,

I has imported financial reports(FRs) from AX 2012 R2 to D365FO.

I try to run FRs but it is not run normal.

I perform reset data mart, but when I open report on Report design, the information message is displayed:

"S-1 is not a valid default base period for this company. The defaulr base period has been changed to CUR"

Could you please let me know the reason why I cannot select Default base period: S-1 instead of CUR?

Then I generated FRs, but error was occurred as below:

Title: This report view contains no data

-Make sure that the report was generated with the following setting:

  • A valid report date
  • Valid dimensions and accounts
  • A valid reporting tree unit

Change you report options or work with your report designer or generator to make sure the report is using the rights settings."

Could you please let me solution to resolve this problem?

Regards,

I have the same question (0)

    Hello HOA,

My name is Erik and I am with Microsoft.

I have a couple of quick questions:

    1. Have you verified that the Data Mart reset completed successfully (Report Designer | Tools | Integration Status)

    2. If it has completed successfully, if you create a new Row (using a cash account) and create a new Column (DESC and FD\Actual\YTD) also create a new Report Definition.

    A. Generate that report.

    B. Does it generate with any data?

If not, I would like you to try the following:

    1. In D365 go to General Ledger | Ledger Setup | Financial Reporting Setup

    A. Make sure that in the "Selected" column that "MainAccount" is listed, if not please add it.

    B. Then perform another Data Mart reset.

    i. Verify that it completes successfully (Tools | Integration status)

    C. Generate the report again.

    Still if that fails:

    1. Are you using Demo data or using your own upgraded D365 data?

    Thank you,

    Erik Johnson

    Dear Erik Johnson

    Thank you for your comment.

I ran Reset Data Mart.(Integration complete and Status: RanToCompletion).I think it have run successfully.

I also add Main account in Financial Reporting Setup, reset Data Mart but after generate the report again, I still cannot view report(same message).

I cannot still select S-1 for Default base period.

I am using the upgraded data from AX 2012 to D365FO

    Regards,

    HOA

    Good Morning HOA,

Does the company for which you run the report have transactions recorded and it is completely setup?

Has somebody possibly changed the fiscal calendar and not run the period update job in D365FO?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
