i would like some advise on the following please.
i have a sales order that we need to cancel the deliver remainder qty, but we get the message "The quantity cannot be reduced. The number of stock transactions on order is too low because the quantity or part of it is referenced by an output order or a works order or is marked against other transactions." picking list and picking list registration is all greyed out. i went to the output order, but cannot end it as it is in an 'Ended' status already.
what i did was in a Test Environment was the following (I'd just like to know if this was the correct way before proceeding with it in our live production environment)
1. Went to the shipment -> Enquiries -> Picking Route
2. Under lines -> Functions -> Unpick.
3. Under lines -> Functions -> Cancel picking line.
4. the output order went into 'Handling' status
After that i was able to cancel the deliver remainder and the Sales Order became invoiced (only had to cancel the deliver remainder on one line), went back to check the output order and it went back to 'Ended' status.
was this the correct way?
